As a parent-teacher cooperative, we welcome, benefit from, and depend upon the time and talents of family members. Though parents have no direct teaching responsibilities, they are encouraged to share skills, talents, or interests with the children. All parents and teachers are expected to participate.
Parents and teachers work together on committees and are partners in a community that holds children’s best interests in the forefront. Through home visits, family involvement and close communication, and getting to know the whole child, we form bonds that gently invite children into the community and the learning process.
