The Children’s Preschool has a committed staff of experienced, professional teachers who are passionate about their work with young children. Parents prize the teaching staff for its considerable experience and length of time working together. Collectively the teachers have over one hundred years of experience in the field of early childhood education. All staff members participate in professional development activities throughout the year. The ratio of children to teachers is approximately 7:1.
Students and student teachers from area colleges occasionally work in the classroom under close supervision by the teaching staff.

“When someone asks me what I do, and I answer that I am a teacher of three and four year olds, I sometimes get the response, ‘What on earth can you teach them?’ I tell them … I teach children about the world they live in, about themselves, and their peers. And I teach them about adults, trust and love. I work with attitudes. I hope to inspire a love of learning. This is what I teach.” – Kathy Michel
